"Christian, do you love TV?"
"Living Biblically" on the CBS network. I don't know much about the show except for a 30-second commercial. That was enough to know that all they're going to do is mock the Holy Bible and God Himself. If you think differently, you've got a serious problem. You need to get with the Lord with the TV turned off and ask some questions. When your television is on, you aren't hearing from God, I don't care what you say. That's why a lot of you don't want to turn it off. You leave the TV on while you fall asleep. You don't want it off, because the Holy Spirit might start falling upon you, and that's the last thing you want. Why? Because the Holy Spirit, which speaks for Jesus Christ, is going to hold you accountable. He's going to convict and chasten. He knows how to get to you, for sure.
Some Christians keep watching television, quite in a religious way, and will seem to put up a kind of token resistance to how wicked it all is. "They are so bad!" But these professing believers keep on watching.
There is a doctrine of separation.
We as believers, as children of God, should practice separation as much as possible.
