I was very interested in Greek and Roman and other myths from around the world. To me, because I believed what the world thought, these stories were no less plausible than Bible stories. And I was in a church often, professing belief in Christ. I was a Christian youth who sincerely thought that you could claim Jesus as Lord, yet see false religions as valid, too. I was very familiar with Hercules from books and from comics.
Samson is similar but different. Let's look at that.
