Dumb things we say: taking God's name in vain
Using God, that is Jesus's, name in vain as a profanity is an offering to the devil.
Pretty much every Hollywood production does some profaning of God's name. They must do it. They must acknowledge the devil in at least that way, in order to get worldly power, status, money and attention from lost unbelievers and Christians caught up in the world's entertainments. Normally, they do it right at the start of the movie or program or song. But not always.
